INTRODUCING MA KẸKẸ—LET US WRITE

We are thrilled to announce the rebranding of our writing contest, previously known as "Gemspread Publishing Flash Fiction Contest," to the new and exciting "Ma Kẹkẹ", an online publication. Ma Kẹkẹ literally translates to "let us write" in Etsako, a language from Edo State, Nigeria. This new name better reflects the essence of this contest, which is to encourage writers to engage with sociopolitical and cultural issues in the most creative and compelling ways possible.
